Overview
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1354, by Húlien vyim Yuvnocu. The establishment of Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Húlien vyim Yuvnocu struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét as a prison colony.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of crampt baked earthen streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Astonishigly, the exceptionaly well made fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
Right off the bat Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. Precisely how it has gained its wealth is a mystery. Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.
Civic Infrastructure
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's parks.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's natural decorations nor waterways.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is long in Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét.
The Elawah near Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves reenactments to channel Invocation energies of tier 1 via mimery.

Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét was unknowingly built atop something unstable, and now that substrate is crumbling. It may be swampy ground or a decaying coastline, or it could be an ancient buried city that’s now giving way. In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.
Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét makes use of canals for some of its streets. Locals often fish in the canals.
POI
History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét was attacked by savage tribes living nearby Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét lost 245 people, 359 livestock, and 34 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 211, when members of Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's militia enacted an operation to extract assets from a mine under siege by the enemy. The operation was complicated by aggravated civilians, who cause problems for the militia for a host of reasons. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Iyuzeld Iri-zmepikét's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
